A west Los Angeles native, Madison T. Shockley III dreamt of becoming an artist at such a young age that he taught himself how to play the guitar. A field trip to Sony's recording studio in Santa Monica further cemented his interest in the music industry. Being equally passionate about business, Madison has lead the marketing campaign for a national independent record release and currently owns his own professional recording studio in San Diego. When he is not in the studio, Madison is in Hollywood, networking and developing various entertainment projects.

Sujata Day has appeared in many TV shows, films, and web productions since moving to LA from the black 'n yella suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA. TV credits include Desperate Housewives, Secret Life of the American Teenager, Campus Ladies, Greek, and The Loop. She played a supporting role in 2009’s Down For Life, alongside Danny Glover and Snoop Dogg. Sujata can be seen next starring in the dance mockumentary, Big Breakin', set to be released in early 2012.

The son of a retired touring ballroom dancer, Tristen aspired to be a performer at an early age. Tristen discovered his passion for bringing characters to life on stage after enrolling in The Colburn School of Performing Arts, under Alfred Desio's expertise (inventor of Tap Tronics). Tristen first met Issa Rae in high school where they performed together in a production of "On Striver's Row". Their second collaboration is "The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl". In addition to ABG, he is working on a short film entitled, "Papers and Plastics", written and directed by Angelica Cheri.

Kiki Harris and Issa Rae met while studying at Stanford University and became roommates when they both moved to Harlem after graduation. While living in New York, Kiki graduated from Columbia University with a Master's in Public Health and now works for a management consulting firm in downtown Los Angeles. In her spare time, Kiki enjoys dancing (hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary), supporting the performing arts, traveling, and hanging out with her super-talented and amazing friends.

Fahad is from Saudi Arabia, but currently resides in Los Angeles. He graduated from Stanford University with degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Management Science and Engineering, and Middle Eastern Studies & Literature. Fahad was encouraged by Issa Rae to audition with her in a Stanford play and that is when the acting bug bit him. Fahad is currently working as a mentor for Saudi students who are coming to study in the US and is the Co-Chair of the Arab Region for the Nexus Global Youth Summit. He also worked for Facebook and was instrumental in launching Facebook in Arabic.

Leah Williams hails from Louisville, KY and has been in love with art and all things creative since childhood. She started acting at 13 at The Youth Performing Arts School, and in May 2009 received her BA in Acting from the Pittsburgh Conservatory of Performing Arts. After much thought, she ultimately decided that L.A. was the best place for her to pursue her passion of not only becoming a successful working actress, but to be one of the chosen few to further break down barriers for women of color in Hollywood. She considers it both an honor and a blessing to be part of the ABG cast, and looks forward to making changes that will turn Hollywood upside down, together.
